Jay M. Jones, MD

Dr. Jones is a Dallas native who knew from a young age that he would become a doctor.  His father was his first teacher, taking him on house and hospital calls.  He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Southwestern Medical School, and Scott & White Clinic and Hospital.  He started his practice near Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in July, 1988.  He’s been married a long time and has five wonderful children. He enjoys sailing on Lake Ray Hubbard, playing tenor sax, and fixing things. He considers himself a country doctor in the big city.  Dr. Jones is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and maintains his Christian Medical and Dental Association membership.  He has mentored aspiring medical students through the General Internal Medicine Preceptor Program for over 20 years.
