Dr. Fesmire received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center after having received her Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Masters of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. She served her Residency and Internship at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Fesmire has participated in several areas of Research as well as an FDA-funded Clinical Trial. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center with additional responsibilities as Supervising Faculty, Assistant Course Director and serving on the Clinical Guidelines Committee.
