Dr. Gist began working with MSA after serving his Internal Medicine residency at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. He earned his M.D. at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - and his undergraduate degrees from Southern Methodist University. He is cerified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Gist Completed three years of graduate study at Baylor College of Dentistry and earned a master's degree in Biblical Literature from AG Theological Seminary. He is married and has three children. He is a life long resident of Dallas, Texas.
