Divi Puttagunta, MD
Dr. Divi joined MSA in September of 2008. A near life-long Texan, she was raised in Dallas and graduated cum laude from University of Texas at Dallas. She attained her medical degree and completed her internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. In addition to being in private practice, she serves as Clinical Instructor for residents at Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Divi emphasizes the importance of preventive care. Before writing a prescription, she works to counsel her patients and find the best solutions for their long-term health. She is experienced in the treatment of acute as well a chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension.
Her interests in her spare time include dancing as well as running and skiing. She has competed in two half-marathons. She resides in Richardson with her husband and baby daughter.
